Powerful, distinct, and refreshing are words that describe the voice and style of Vayne, an artist & personality the world will soon get to know and love!

Vayne grew up in the small town of Ettrick, Virginia. Her father, an Episcopalian Priest from the island of Barbados and mother, a teacher from the small caribbean island St.Vincent & The Grenadines, moved to Virginia after being offered the opportunity to be the Reverend of a local church.

As a hip-hop recording artist, the Howard University School of Business graduate has collaborated with mainstream mega star Busta Rhymes, as well as other artists such as DJ Green Lantern, DJ Kay Slay, Chamillionaire, Remy Ma, Maino, Crime Mob, & Papoose to name a few. With countless features on mixtapes, dvd’s, and the two top hip hop station’s in New York, Hot 97  FM and Power 105 FM, she grabbed a nice buzz on the underground scene. The buzz was so nice, in fact, it landed her a slot on DJ Kay Slay and DJ Greg Street’s (Kotch Distributed) album “The Champion’s: North meets South”, a feature in XXL Magazine’s “Show and Prove” section, and a production deal with Street Sweepers Entertainment.

In April 2014, she made a bold decision and moved to Barbados. In less than one year she went from being the guest host of a weekly segment called "The Reggae Lounge Half-Hour" on SLAM 101.1 FM  for a local night club, to becoming the host of the primetime afternoon shift “The Energy Drive” along with DJ Evolution.  (She is also the announcer for a Saturday morning shift on SLAM 101.1 FM with DJ Shaqmed).

The Energy Drive has allowed her to interview many popular artists and celebrities including Jah Cure, Majah Hype, I-Octane, Alison Hinds, and Destra to name a few.  In less than two years in Barbados, Vayne landed on the card as the host or a presenter of some of Barbados’ most popular platforms including Soca On De Hill 2015 & 2016, Hennessy Artistry 2015, and Reggae On The Hill 2016 where she was the co-host with Peter Coppin.

She was also chosen by Sky Mall to be one of the voices heard daily by customers via ads that play throughout the shopping center.

In 2016, Vayne stepped up as an entrepreneur and created a show of her own (in which she is also the announcer) entitled Vayne's Top 10 Countdown.  The people's choice countdown show airs Sundays on SLAM 101 FM and plays the best of Pop, Hip Hop, Soca, Dancehall, R & B, and Reggae music from around the world.

Vayne was a featured guest on the television show "SportsMax Zone" on Digicel SportsMax Jamaica (which aired live throughout the caribbean), a featured host to a television show in Barbados titled "The Scene" on Trident 10 TV, and also a feautered guest on the popular television program The Toni Thorne Show.
